The
English actor Peter
Bull , regarded by many as one of the godfather of the
teddy bear renaissance, called his friend Theodore a
symbol of unloneliness. While Aloysius was Peter Bull's
most famous bear, his personal favourite was Theodore.
This diminutive teddy bear accompanied Peter Bull everywhere,
sitting comfortably in his jacket pocket. When Peter
Bull died Theodore live for some time with one of Peter
friends but now he keeps Delicatessen and Alfonzo company
at Teddy Bears of Witney.
The replica of Theodore looks old and worn like
the original. This teddy bear is made of aged mohair
with a worn and repaired nose and mouth. The new Theodore
comes with some baggage, a wooden chair, a gold edged,
red felt cushion embroidered with his initial T, a 24
page book by Ian Pout wich tells the story of Theodore
and Peter Bull, and his own leather trunk. Theodore
is 8,5 cm tall and he were produced in a limited edition
of 10,000 bears exclusive to Mr Ian Pout's Teddy Bears
of Witney.
