Christmas in Germany December 6th is "Nikolaus Tag". On this day German children usually receive a chocolate Santa or other candy, and also a little toy. On the 6th of December, St. Nickolaus comes to bring the children baskets filled with goodies, such as fruits, nuts and candies. Children have to give an account of their behaviour for the year and if they were dearly and good, St. Nickolaus rewards them. Every Sunday until Christmas Eve another candle is lit and the anticipation grows A very good Christmas page is www.christmas.com
