Sentosa was not always the carefree resort island it is today. In the 1880s, the British built Fort Siloso of the island, known then as Pulau Belakang Mati. Fort Siloso is now a museum. Underwater World, Volcano Land,Wonder Golf Park are now still other highlights on Sentosa island. Most popular are the different beaches. Streched over 3,2 km there are Tanjong Beach, Palawan Beach and Siloso Beach. |
